Public Entities

The Firm has a developing expertise in the handling of public law matters and related litigation. Our attorneys have handled diverse actions ranging from tort claims to constitutional issues involving ordinances and codes, zoning matters, criminal and civil municipal code enforcement of zoning and other municipal code violations, environmental claims by third parties, municipal financing, variances, inverse condemnation, landlord/tenant disputes, and the sale of public entity owned real estate between public entities. In addition, the Firm is experienced in the defense and prosecution of litigation, mediation and arbitration disputes in courts and before administrative agencies, involving vendors such as those involved with public works construction contracts and other contract actions. Our experience also includes the representation of clients in civil or criminal actions brought by state or federal agencies such as the Department of Fish and Game for environmental and related law violations.
