The Firm's labor practice includes significant experience in the litigation and arbitration of employment matters involving defending employers against age and gender discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, breach of fiduciary duty and contractual matters. We advise employers pertaining to matters relating to the administration of employee benefit plans, the development and implementation of employee handbooks, safety manuals, personnel policies and compliance with federal, state and local laws. The representation also includes compliance with ERISA regulations, Americans With Disabilities Act, Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended, Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, and any and all claims of employment discrimination on any basis or of unlawful retaliation, including, but not limited to, any and all claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended, under the Civil Rights Act of 1866, 42 U.S.C. ' 1981, under the Civil Rights Act of 1991, as amended, under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, as amended, and under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, as amended including proceedings before federal, state court and administrative bodies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
